Hi Cheryl,
You caught me by surprise to visit my blog, thanks! Haven't seen you for a long, long time. Sure missed you around.
How blessed are you to spend your June holidays abroad! Well, I've had my fair share of blessings too when I was young, though I hadn't have a chance to travel abroad until when I was about 22! (And, I'm referring to the nearest country, Malaysia.) Aah, my childhood times...lots of happy memories and fun too, especially during the holidays! My days were filled with activities that my neighbours and my siblings could possibly imagined. We played "hide-and-seek", "catching", "harmtan balla" (strike someone with a small round ball) ,"talent-time", "schooling" (my neighbour's older brother really made a very good discipline-master when he went around with his "stick"),"haunted house" (very thrilling and scary), badminton, table-tennis, base-ball, monopoly, cluedo, etc. Frankly speaking, not a day did I actually think about my schoolwork. Come to think of it, there wasn't any homework at all during my holidays! Of course, I do read alot of story books and that I believe helped greatly in my studies!
Oh dear, can't blog further, need to get my son to do his schoolwork and really, really buck up in his studies, especially during this holidays.
